Lin Wellford's newest book "Painted Garden Art Anyone Can Do" is already garnering positive praise from happy customers. Below are a few customer testimonies Lin has received:
Midwest Book Review- "Truly lovely gardens often require more than simply lovely plants. They also depend on the use of stepping stones, scalloped border pieces, manufactured field stones, natural river rocks, and other such raw materials to create maintenance-free borders, flower beds, and accent pieces. In "Painted Garden Art Anyone Can Do", gardening expert Lin Wellford presents eleven complete projects and patterns that even the most novice gardener can immediately apply to their own gardening and landscaping efforts. There are projects here that will help the gardener or landscaper to make the most out of limited space, compensate for not having time enough to keep annuals from looking their best, deal with otherwise doggedly shady areas and worn spots in the yard, using relatively inexpensive and low-maintenance water features. A very strongly recommended and thoroughly 'user friendly' instructional reference for aspiring gardeners, Lin Wellford's "Painted Garden Art Anyone Can Do" is profusely illustrated with more than three hundred color photographs and a welcome addition to community library Gardening & Landscaping reference collections."
"What a wonderful book! I bought a home last year from someone who planted nice flowers and bushes, but then edged them in ugly scalloped concrete borders with ugly concrete stepping stones nearby. I moved all of them to the shed & wondered what in the world I'd ever do with so much ugly concrete. Then I found this book. Never would it have occurred to me to paint my edgers & stepping stones the way Lin did. I'm no painter, but decided I had nothing to lose by trying. It worked! Lin's directions are very clear, easy to follow, and so much fun. I actually purchased an edger last week for yet another painting. Her stepping stones are also great. Plus, my sense of success caused me to purchase 2 of Lin's rock painting books, and they are also great. Another plus: Lin's projects are very affordable. Plus another plus: Unlike so many craft books, Lin's are filled with clever, not cutesy, ideas. So much fun." Ann "doc" (Hattiesburg, MS USA)

Hi, Lin. I received your new book today, and waited until all was quiet this evening before I opened it. I always like to save "the best" for last at the end of my day. Well, let me tell you, I just couldn't put it down! Every page I turned had more inspiring projects, and as a consequence, before I knew it, over two hours had flown by! What a fantastic idea about the flat stone heads. The fruit pages took over 20 minutes alone to look at, because I couldn't believe everything were rocks. I love the village houses, as well as the Halloween projects, the pumpkins, Mr. & Mrs. Claus, Nativity scene figures and barn animals, and butterflies. I could go on and on and on.....how wonderful all of your ideas are! Thank you for this latest book....it is one of your best ever. I now look forward to tackling many "new" projects. Sincerely, Deanna Joy Moore Home of "Deanimals"
Dear Lin, Thank you for the Rock Painting Fun for Everyone book that I just received. It is great and I have spent hours planning my painting. I just retired from banking and spent the last three years in the Philippines serving a mission for my church and now I have time to do some painting like I have always wanted to. I have enjoyed the other book, of yours, that I have and look forward to more fun as I turn the pages, of this one, and paint rocks. You singed it for me THANKS. A fan in rock painting, Rulon R.
